Information we receive
There is no account or contact form on this website. If you choose to email us, we receive your email address, name, message and anything else you include. Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address and request details.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to reply, provide requested information, take steps you ask us to take before an order or contract, run the business and meet legal obligations. Depending on the enquiry, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in handling ordinary business enquiries, or compliance with law.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your information. It may be handled by service providers that help us operate email, website hosting or security, and by professional or public authorities where the law requires it. We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is needed for the enquiry, our records and any legal obligations.
Saved favourites on this device
When you tap a heart on the menu, the item is stored in your browser’s local storage so it is there next time. The favourites feature does not send that list to Sid’s Deli. Remove individual items by tapping their hearts again, use “Clear saved” on the menu, or clear them below.
Cookies, maps and other websites
At launch, this website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. A service worker may save website files on your device so the menu can work reliably and offline. Google Maps is opened only when you choose a directions link; Google’s own privacy terms then apply.
Your rights
You may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, depending on the circumstances. Email info@sidsdeli.co.uk to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through the ICO complaints service.
